Facility Expansion

Project Description: Invited by a GC who we had done several projects successfully with in the past, the Friedman’s Sonoma project was a major undertaking. The local company wanted to build a major indoor lumberyard expansion and parking lot improvements over the course of a winter season while keeping the store open!

Needless to say, it was quite a challenge, but, by partnering well with the GC and other stakeholders, we delivered the project on time as planned. The logistics of this project where very complex, but Oak Grove delivered and left the GC and client happy.

“I have selected and utilized Oak Grove Construction for several projects over the last few years. Oak Grove has always accomplished the work on schedule, for the agreed on price and in accordance with our demanding quality standards. It is without reservation I can recommend them.”

– Jere V. Starks, VP of facilities, Infineon Raceway

Project Description: A past client invited Oak Grove to bid on remedial grading that was to be required following the demolition of an old winery building deemed a nuisance by the City of Santa Rosa. Having been initially invited to bid a complete package of work, Oak Grove partnered with other subcontractors invited to bid and offered a customized scope of work to provide the client with the best value possible.

We worked closely with the selected demolition sub to ensure that once the site was demolished, we were there the next day to restore the site to a native condition. We installed a large fill with subdrains and keyways per the direction of the soils engineer who Oak Grove brought onto the project team.

Project Description: Located in the Napa Valley, sitework included multiple cottage building pads, several commercial building pads, reclaimed water pond construction, roads, pathways, metal edging, gravity and pressurized utilities, storm drain detention basin, and flexible pavement.

ADA Walkway/Ramp

Upgrade Parking Lot to ADA Requirements

Project Description: Locate high pressure gas line, remove (E) AC to construct PCC ADA parking stalls, adjust grades by placing additional base rock, conform paving and striping/signage improvements. Modify ADA sidewalk at main restaurant entrance.

Project Description: Multiple projects and phases consisting of ADA improvements & upgrades, seal coat applications, striping, clearing & demolition, and pavement improvements.

Project Description: Removal & replacement of a lap swimming pool, installation of underground utilities, ADA improvements and upgrades and asphalt overlay.

Project Description: Earthwork and underground utility installation for a new hillside solar array.

Project Description: As a result of performing a significant remodel of a commerical building along Highway 12, the owner was required to upgrade the fire sprinkler system, requiring an upsized dedicated fire service lateral from the main underneath Highway 12.

Oak Grove was referred to the GC through another GC who was pleased with our work on small, tight, complex projects in the past. Oak Grove had the knowledge and experience to accurately predict the costs and requirements CALTrans would place upon the permittee and completed the work with several night shifts and a bore underneath the highway.
